Children who will be five by August 31, 2025 are eligible for kindergarten! We are so excited to welcome our youngest students to Hutchinson Public Schools. Below, you will find helpful information about the upcoming Kindergarten Meet and Greets hosted by each elementary school on April 22nd, from 6-7pm. You do not need to bring any enrollment paperwork or other information with you. This event is an opportunity to meet teachers and staff, tour the building, and connect with other families.

If you are interested in Allen STEM Magnet School, please attend your home elementary school meet and greet to pick up an application. Allen STEM Magnet School does not have a home district.

Kindergarten Meet & Greet events for Faris, Graber, Lincoln-McCandless, Morgan and Wiley will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd from 6-7pm. Light refreshments will be provided. Allen STEM Magnet will hold it's event on Thursday, April 24th from 6-7pm.

Each bag contains a fun-filled summer skills workbook with over a hundred pages of kindergarten readiness skills and a set of school supplies to keep your kindergartener engaged all summer. The Night Before Kindergarten by Natasha Wing and a small play doh is also included!
