Events:

Saturday Night at the Y
FREE program for all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in Reno County. Must have a current Registration form on file at the YMCA. You can complete your registration form at drop-off. This event occurs on the 2nd Saturday of the month. July's event takes place at Salt City Splash on the third Saturday. No event in June & September. Every event will feature YMCA staff, Hutchinson Boys & Girls Club Staff, Hutchinson Police Department School Resource Officers, and staff from various community partners.

YMCA Spring Sports
The arctic chill in the air may have you bundled up inside right now, but spring sports are closer than you think! Snow boots will soon give way to soccer cleats. Winter gloves to baseball gloves. Nothing's better than the change of the sports seasons that bring new challenges for young players.
Spring sports registration opens this Monday, January 27.

YMCA Dodgeball
For 1st - 8th grade boys and girls
NO PRACTICES
Must have a YMCA Reversible Jersey
Games can be on a Tues , Thurs, (evenings) and/or Saturday morning. 1 to 2 games per week
6 Games Total
The main objective in dodgeball is to eliminate all members of the opposing team by throwing the ball at them. Players must dodge the ball to remain in the game and the team who manages to eliminate all of their opponent’s first are deemed the winners.
Registration opens on January 27th and closes on February 24th. Games are played March 4th through 27th at the YMCA.

YMCA Soccer
Y sports nurture the potential of your kids by emphasizing fun, skill development, sportsmanship, and teamwork in a positive environment.
Learn skills and build character while staying active, having fun, and making friends! Our programs progress with your needs and abilities, from introductory to competitive.
Boys & Girls age 3 to 7th grade
Leagues feature:
6 games per season with practices
Volunteer coaches
Focus on fundamentals and new skill development
All players play a minimum 1/2 of each game
Games are on Saturdays

EVERY child ages Birth-5 in Kansas, can now participate in Dolly’s Imagination Library. Your child can get a FREE book every month for 5 years! That’s 60 books!!
Book titles are selected to match your child’s age, so if you have a 1 yr old and a 3 yr old, they will receive different titles each month.

Adaptive Swim Lessons @YMCA
Hutchinson YMCA's one-on-one Adaptive Swim Lessons are lead by instructors who have completed trainings specializing in adaptive swim instruction. Private Adaptive Swim Lessons use techniques to modify or adapt to the individuals abilities and needs with an emphasis on skills that promote safety around water. These lessons are ideal for those with anxiety, physical, sensory, communication or behavior challenges and are appropriate for all ages.
